Objective Students will be able to:

  • compare and contrast Pioneer schools and games.
  • explain why children had to have jobs long ago.
Procedure Read and discuss the reading comprehension passages: games, children’s jobs, and school.

See Page 26-27 of the People Long Ago Activity Guide for ideas of games that could be played that children played long ago.
